Tumor Cell Lines

Molecular Imaging provides an array of services collectively focused on the in vivo evaluation of new drug candidates’ therapeutic potential. Our deep drug discovery, pharmacology, and in vivo imaging expertise deliver enhanced predictive power.

We have applied our technologies to the evaluation of:

  • Small Molecules
  • Biologicals
  • Antibodies
  • Proteins
  • Peptides
  • Nucleic acids (antisense, siRNA, etc.)
  • Gene Therapies
  • Vaccines and Immune Modulators
  • Medical Devices and Implants
  • Novel Imaging Probes and Reagents

Tumor Cell Lines
  • Conventional human and murine cancer models.

We maintain a tumor bank of more than 100 validated-tumor models of both human and murine origin, that span a wide range of cancer types. Many of these models have been adapted to orthotopic- and metastatic-model formats that are facilitated by our imaging technologies. We continually add to our collection of tumor models and extend multi-modality imaging biomarker validation to these models.

  • Luciferase-enabled cancer models.

Through a license from the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, we have access to the world’s largest collection of in vivo validated luciferase-enabled tumor cell lines. Multiple luciferase-expressing models of the following cancer histotypes are available:

    • Brain
    • Breast
    • Colon
    • Kidney
    • Leukemia
    • Lung
    • Lymphoma
    • Melanoma
    • Myeloma
    • Neuroblastoma
    • Ovarian
    • Pancreas
    • Prostate
    • Sarcoma
  • We routinely accept client-supplied models (cell lines, primary xenografts, and genetically-modified animals) after appropriate pathogen screening.
